By choosing a Life Celebration, also known as a living wake, you’ll be present to hear all the beautiful things your friends and loved ones have to say about you. You will share in the love, joy and fun while reminiscing about the great times you’ve all shared. Choosing a living wake means you can be there to celebrate your close relationships, life achievements and the person you are.
What is a Living Wake?
Living wakes are becoming increasingly popular as people move away from a more traditional funeral and find unique ways to celebrate their life with the people they love while they are present.
Unlike a traditional funeral, memorial or wake, a living wake happens when the person is terminally ill or facing the end of their life, or they just want to celebrate whilst they can.
A living wake offers an opportunity for family and friends to come together to express their love, share memories and celebrate the person’s life.
If the thought of a traditional funeral is not for you and you prefer to celebrate with family and friends whilst you are still here, then a Living Wake might be the perfect send off for you.

CREATING AN EVENT TO SUIT your STYLE
A Life Celebration can be as formal or informal as you like. You might want dedicated guest speakers, or you may prefer something more relaxed with off the cuff speeches. Or perhaps you prefer something that resembles a party with your favourite music, plenty of dancing, drinks and your favourite food being served.
We will work with you every step of the way to plan the perfect way to celebrate your life. Whether you choose a function centre, a club, a picnic in a garden or perhaps a Food truck down along the beach.
Once we have an understanding of ‘who you are’ and what you would like, we will go ahead and take care of the rest. Whatever you decide, it’s a chance to make the celebration as personalised as you wish.
