ABOUT CELEBRATION OF LIVE EVENTS
Hi, we are Danielle and Felicia the Founders of Celebration of Life Events.
The thought of having our own funeral in a traditional funeral home just wasn’t for us. We both agreed that we’d prefer to focus on celebrating the life we lived in a unique and joyous way. Where family and friends can come together, share stories, laughter, tears, creating lasting memories.
After researching and speaking with family and friends, we soon realised many other people wanted this kind of celebration too. So we created Celebration of Life Events to offer people an option for a farewell that is simpler, more affordable and more personal.
With a background in Events and Corporate, we decided using our skills to help others was a great way to do something meaningful. Hearing stories from people we have met along the way, made us realise how much of an impact we can make on other’s lives.
There are so many wonderful ways to celebrate someone’s life. We would be honoured to get a glimpse into your life and listen to stories about you, or your loved one. Entrusting us with this final celebration.
Whatever this looks like, we will be there to support you every step of the way.

“For me, my ashes scattered over the water down along the beach, with food and drinks in a function room, with people sharing stories, singing and dancing would be the perfect send off. I want people talking about the fabulous life I lived.”

“Being diagnosed with Cancer a few years ago made me question everything (thankfully I’m now cancer free). It made me think about what kind of send-off I would want and whether there was a better way. Using our skills we’ve created a different and more joyous way to say goodbye. We want the celebrations we create to be talked about for years to come.”
